Hassan Allam Holding (HAH) expands its presence in Saudi Arabia through PIF support

Introduction:

Established in 1936, Hassan Allam Holding (HAH) is one of the oldest Engineering & Construction, and Investment & Development companies specialized in large-scale infrastructure, energy, and real estate projects across the MENA region. The group has a presence across three continents and has a strong international team of 50,000 employees. Hassan Allam explored opportunities published on Private Sector Hub and subsequent close collaboration with PIF to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia.

 

Private Sector partnership:

Through the Private Sector Hub, Hassan Allam explored the opportunities and received support in terms of visibility on the key PIF projects and key capabilities required to participate in the projects. Hassan Allam also received support from PIF in identifying and connecting with the right local partners and contractors to form consortiums to deliver the projects. Hassam Allam team worked hands-on, on a daily basis with the PIF team, resulting in setting up regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia in record time. The company currently has staffed 3,600 employees on 15 projects in Saudi Arabia.

 

Impact and value creation:

The partnership enables the construction services sector to build its capacity, which also helps to bring in best practices into the construction industry. This supports Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering job creation and enhancing local project delivery capabilities through localization of international contractors and knowledge transfer.
