Rising Architects
The MUSAHAMA Design Competition invites final-year students and recent graduates to re-imagine SEDRA’s Pedestrian Spine through the lens of rising architects.

Eligibility
- Saudi nationals
- Final-year undergraduates or recent graduates (within the last 12 months)
- Those pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in the field of architecture
- Teams of three to four members (no individual participation)
Competition Stages
Interim Stage
Teams will develop initial design concepts and narratives that will guide the final design. Shortlisted teams will be selected to advance to the final stage of the competition.
Final Stage
The selected teams will refine and detail their designs and the final selected teams will be awarded.

Throughout the competition, participants will benefit from a comprehensive series of learning experiences facilitated by leading design and engineering firms:
- Webinars: Gain invaluable insights across various aspects of design laying a strong foundation for submissions and professional development.
- Workshop: Engage in hands-on learning experience and valuable networking opportunities.
- One-on-One Sessions: Receive personalized feedback on your design projects and expert guidance on the use of local materials.
